在平田周造（橋爪功飾）與妻子富子（吉行和子飾）鬧離婚后的數(shù)年，長男幸之助夫婦擔(dān)心高齡者的危險(xiǎn)駕駛，計(jì)劃讓老爸周造還掉自己的駕照，然而頑固的周造偏不還，讓平田家族里再次蒙上不安的氛圍。某日，周造與居酒屋女老板和開車回到故鄉(xiāng)廣島的同級(jí)生丸田吟平偶遇，丸田已經(jīng)變成落寞的孤寡老人，周造組織了場同學(xué)聚會(huì)設(shè)法讓丸田過得快樂，丸田在感動(dòng)之余傾訴了他這些年的遭遇，當(dāng)晚在睡夢(mèng)中離世?！?/p>
