本作改編自作家森澤明夫的原作小說。影片講述了小時(shí)候母親去世的心也與在家中沒有歸屬感的夕花之間的故事。這對(duì)同班同學(xué)因機(jī)緣巧合成立了“閑暇部”，原本孤獨(dú)的兩人逐漸拉近了的距離。然而，一場(chǎng)意外事件后，夕花突然消失了。心也懷抱著無處訴說的情感，遵守著兩人之間的約定，默默等待她的歸來。在這突如其來的離別過去30年后，夕花的秘密終于浮出水面。
