一幫年輕人在北京動物園門口賣包，沒有營業(yè)執(zhí)照常常被警察“光顧”。建軍（雪村 飾）是其中一個小伙子，他愛上了大家樂音樂茶座的服務(wù)員沈紅（范霞 飾）。他為她省錢買栗子，為她挨乘務(wù)員狠揍了一頓，為她排長長的隊辦簽證，卻還是得不到沈紅的愛。更無奈的是，沈紅不但一心想著要出國，還投入了建軍朋友的懷抱。
沈紅被流氓糾纏，三舅見狀，前去搭救，不料受了重傷身亡。大家成立了復(fù)仇隊，卻搭上了更多人的性命。
沈紅走的前一天晚上，同意和傾慕自己已久的建軍共度一夜，卻又節(jié)外生枝。焦灼、無奈和迷失，在這晚的滂沱大雨中交織。
