因一場(chǎng)意外，俐俐（馮波 飾）身受重傷，手術(shù)過后更成了沒有意識(shí)的植物人。雖然經(jīng)過很長(zhǎng)一段時(shí)間奇跡般蘇醒，但是卻全然忘記自己的身份和來歷。
偶然機(jī)緣，她邂逅了報(bào)社記者劉聰（李乃文 飾），兩人相知相戀，俐俐也進(jìn)入了藥品生產(chǎn)巨頭方臣藥業(yè)供職，一切似乎重新開始。為了追查一起醫(yī)療事故，劉聰不斷跟進(jìn)，進(jìn)而得知那個(gè)可愛的女孩小蕓很有可能因?yàn)槭褂昧朔匠忌a(chǎn)的麻醉劑而成為了植物人。他的深入調(diào)查引起軒然大波，也令方臣坐立不安，急于除之而后快。另一方面，為了協(xié)助調(diào)查而不斷從公司獲取資料的俐俐也引起高層的主意，安全和事業(yè)危在旦夕。在這一過程中，她也漸漸找到自己失落已久的身份……
