二櫻中學畢業(yè)后盼望投身廣闊的革命天地，做一個順應時代潮流的人，可家人為阻止她參加政治運動給她找了個差事，每天擔水。與二櫻懷揣同樣渴望的還有郵遞員小李，同樣被父母留城，同樣不喜歡單調的工作生活。日漸高漲的革命浪潮鼓動著兩顆同病相憐的心，二人漸行漸近，一段那個年代特有的初戀故事。
